I understand why the telco lobbyists want a “gatekeeper” system…they are all about pulling in the big bucks!

Most of what I know about gardening, my favorite pastime, was learned for FREE on internet forums from other like minded people with a bit more knowhow. I have bought a couple books on the subject, both purchased online. I got the green thumb from my momma, but all the details and helpful hints came from trolling through a lot of wonderfully free garden sites. I reacquainted with the love of my life through the net.

I am poor. I may have never rekindled our love if I would have had to pay for myspace or my email account.

Keep it free! we are supposed to be that way….FREE. to speak, to assemble, to worship, to learn and grow!

Sure we are no longer free to a fair and speedy trial, (rest in peace habeas corpus, may you be resurrected soon!) But I am just doing my part here to see that we can continue to freely assemble and speak on the internet without some bigwig treating it like their own personal golden goose. It’ is not theirs, it is a web that connects anyone with access.
I see how that can put dollar signs in their eyes, but they are neglecting our individual freedoms by attempting to control it.

Thanks for your time!
