The Internet being an open playing field for all websites (i.e all people) is what makes it an amazing tool and forum for new communities and connections all over the world. A few big corporations already own the airwaves and have turned radio (what was once an interesting and diverse medium) into a cookie cutter format that has zero appeal to me and an increasing number of citizens. Please allow the internet to remain what it was originally intended to be: an open system for people to share ideas and creativity.
