Keep it free! Stop fighting over money.

Honestly, all of the major corporations who have stated that instating these rules will make a fair internet are really lying to the FCC. They only thing they are interested in is money. Do not let the internet turn into cable TV. Example, if you want to watch HBO or other movie networks you have to pay extra for them. What these companies want to do and rather than paying for faster speeds and getting the same access to data, you would have to pay for speed as well as sites you want to access. I would have to pay to access Google and youtube. Having rules in place removes access to the internet as a free and open market to all. Currently, with so many companies fighting over money, nothing innovative has been developed in the US regarding computer technology and increased communication speeds, like mobile devices. We are falling behind as a nation and are no longer the technology leaders in computers, internet speeds, mobile speeds and related technology. The internet should be free to use and access and it should be a neutral market, not a competitive one.

Free Press is a national, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization working to reform the media. Through education, organizing and advocacy, we promote diverse and independent media ownership, strong public media, quality journalism, and universal access to communications.
