Save the Internet. Stop the Telco Content Grab

Net Neutrality is essential to free speech, equal opportunity and economic innovation in America. Executives at AT&T and Verizon want to change all that by discriminating against Web sites that don't pay their added tolls.

This fundamental change would undo the Internet that has become critical to my work as an educator and advocate. It would undermine my ability to connect with others, share information and participate in local government and organizing. The FCC must stop broadband providers from controlling this revolutionary new tool.

Free Press is a national, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization working to reform the media. Through education, organizing and advocacy, we promote diverse and independent media ownership, strong public media, quality journalism, and universal access to communications.
