Tempering with the Internet, is equal to treason.

My name is Charles P. Adkins and I am a Freelance Writer, Blogger, and General Class Amateur Radio Operator, Callsign K8CPA. I reside in Lincoln Park, Michigan.

This elitist attempt at removing net neutrality is the equivalent of treason. Why you ask? Because net neutrality is based upon the American rights, granted to us by the United States Constitution. Everyone has the rights to same speed, and the same level playing field, not just the corporate elite.

I ask you, as an American Citizen, as a law abiding licensed Amateur Radio Operator, As an avid user of the Internet, I ask you, to cast down this crazy, insane, elitist attempt to regulate the speed of the internet.

Net Neutrality is essential to free speech, equal opportunity and economic innovation in America. Since the FCC removed this basic protection in 2005, the top executives of phone and cable companies have stated their intention to become the Internet's gatekeepers and to discriminate against Web sites that don't pay their added tolls.

This fundamental change would end the open Internet as we know it. It would damage my ability to connect with others, share information and participate in our 21st century democracy and economy. The FCC must ensure that broadband providers do not block, interfere with or discriminate against any lawful Internet traffic based on its ownership, source or destination.
I use this Internet on a daily basis, for material for my Blog. I run a political Blog, called "The Populist", the address is http://thepopulistblog.com, My Blog is a Political "right of center" Progressive Populist Blog. In this Blog I report and comment on Political News, general news, and celebrity gossip, this would be greatly impaired, if you took away net neutrality.

I ask you, again, please, do not do this.

Thank you for reading,

-Chuck Adkins
