Freedom of Education

In low income and impoverished areas of the U.S. where one would think the government would turn its attention and try to fix the education crises, it seems to stray further away from the problem. The fact that the majority of low income and poverty level homes cannot afford internet sheds more light onto the government of its negligence for this community. The internet, if monopolized, will have a a higher probability of censorship and price increase, which will in turn, further damage the education that these communities receive. However, if the government, and you, the FCC, do not subjugate yourselves to the temptations and pressures from the big telecommunications companies, more poverty-stricken homes will have the chance for better education.
