Please represent Americans NOT Big Companies!!!!

I became disabled in 2003 due to an industrial accident in 2002 and my life has been altered permanently.I can't do the things I used to do because of physical limitations.I have learned about the internet from my son's and now have some experience with using a computer.Having a "free" (This is a lie,I have to pay for my internet access through Time Warner "AKA" RoadRunner) and unobstructed internet has been very good for me in many ways.I am able to get news reports, knowledge of political issues, and have daily communication with my son's via "IM",instant messaging. This is important because it facilitates my ability to be a better father to my son's.We can communicate at any time as long as we have internet access. This is vitally important because we live apart from each other physically, first from a divorce and now because of college. There is an awakening going on in America about the importance of the father's participation in parenting and if I am to be involved in my son's lives,I need the internet to do so.The internet should be truly free and it should also be improved in the respect of access and speed for all members of our society! If we,as a country, wish to improve the lives of our families, the emotional well being of our families, and really help assist parents to be better parents,we NEED the resources to do so!!! As representatives entrusted with the public's interest, you NEED to RECOGNIZE why this is so important!
Net Neutrality is essential to free speech, equal opportunity and economic innovation in America. Since the FCC removed this basic protection in 2005, the top executives of phone and cable companies have stated their intention to become the Internet's gatekeepers and to discriminate against Web sites that don't pay their added tolls.

This fundamental change would end the open Internet as we know it. It would damage my ability to connect with others, share information and participate in our 21st century democracy and economy. The FCC must ensure that broadband providers do not block, interfere with or discriminate against any lawful Internet traffic based on its ownership, source or destination.
