Net Neutrality-Democracy's Future

I want the internet to open to all regardless of their station in life. I and many others receive critical news from a number of sources on the internet. Net Neutrality is required for my needs to be met as a concerned and informed citizen.

Innovation, both technological and social, has flourished because of an open internet and I have benefited in a number of ways: use of open source software, news sites, activism, etc.

Large corporations in control of the internet would have only their interests in mind and the broader interests of our economy, democracy, and social networks would suffer as a consequence.

I want to be sure that I am able to access the internet without restriction. The FCC must ensure that net neutrality is maintained.

Free Press is a national, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization working to reform the media. Through education, organizing and advocacy, we promote diverse and independent media ownership, strong public media, quality journalism, and universal access to communications.
