Free Exchange of Information Essential
Those of you charged with the responsibility of representing the public need to consider carefully the ramifications of changing the Internet. Right now, anyone can connect to anything on the Net. This means that unlike the other media of TV, the Net restores the badly needed public back and forth conversation and exchange of ideas. Without this, our country and indeed the world will continue to plunge into an ever increasing abyss of ignorance and exploitation of the few by the many.
You as public servants will continue to have to spend more time raising money than governing. The Internet holds out hope in a time of impending intellectual and moral Dark Ages. Please keep it free.
