The Internet wasn't created to be a "Cash Cow"!

Net Neutrality is essential to free speech, equal opportunity and economic innovation in America. Since the FCC removed this basic protection in 2005, the top executives of phone and cable companies have stated their intention to become the Internet's gatekeepers and to discriminate against Web sites that don't pay their added tolls.

This fundamental change would end the open Internet as we know it. It would damage my ability to connect with others, share information and participate in our 21st century democracy and economy. The FCC must ensure that broadband providers do not block, interfere with or discriminate against any lawful Internet traffic based on its ownership, source or destination.

At present, anyone in the United States of America can freely access the internet and use it for whatever purpose they desire. Their is no crisis, what you have being considered at this time is an attempt by the Communication giants to place a wedge in the system that is motivated by nothing more than a scheme to turn the internet into a regulated entity and a "Cash Cow" at the expense of Freedom of Speech and the American Consumer.

The Telecommunications network in this country is already bought and paid for and their is no doubt that the Corporations involved in this "Net Neutrality" debacle are already making money hand over fist thanks to the Telecommunications Act signed into law under the Clinton Administration which was supposed to promote competition and in all actuality has only served to increase their already swelling profit margins. As their is no sound, logical argument for any change other than greed and selfish profit motivations---I see no need to create any such legislation.

Thank you for your time,
