Net Neutrality Is Instrumental to My Success

My name is Travis Thompson, and I am a twenty-three year old disabled student. I sustained a spinal cord injury at the age of 19, and ever since then my quality of life has been poor. However, the Internet has been a life line for me, because it has been my gateway to the outside world that I have such trouble navigating.

I have used the Internet to continue my higher education, and I am very fortunate for the opportunity to use the Internet in my quest of higher education.

When you become disabled you have many barriers that you must overcome, and although losing the freedom of the Internet is not a physical obstacle, it is another barrier that I will fight to break through.

The Internet is one of main kinds greatest inventions, and it is fortunate that the common man such as myself has the ability to use it. I fear that if the Internet became limited, it would just be the first step in the common man such as myself losing an American right. Where will it stop?

I do not want to see a domino effect, and that is why I will do my part in speaking up!

Do not limit the common man, because with the right opportunities, the common man such as myself can become great, and contribute to society with the best of men.
