SAVE AMERICA'S "DEMOCRACY WALL"!!
I appreciate the egalitarian, democratic quality of the internet. It could be better--we could decide as a nation that everyone has as much right to broadband as they do to postal service--but i certainly do not want to see it changed into a system in which large, private, for-profit corporations are its gatekeepers.
I appreciate the fact that I can, at little or no cost, post my music, opinions, and news on the net, and share them with people all over the world, just as I can read news and opinions and listen to music from people all over the world.
Corporations have already shown that they will censor net content that is critical of them. We need an internet that is open to public use and input, not an internet that is just like commercial television, only interactive.
