Restore our Constitution

Net Neutrality is essential to free speech, equal opportunity and economic innovation in America. Since the FCC removed this basic protection in 2005, the top executives of phone and cable companies have stated their intention to become the Internet's gatekeepers and to discriminate against Web sites that don't pay their added tolls.

This fundamental change would end the open Internet as we know it. It would damage my ability to connect with others, share information and participate in our 21st century democracy and economy. The FCC must ensure that broadband providers do not block, interfere with or discriminate against any lawful Internet traffic based on its ownership, source or destination.

And, if this continues, how long before they increase their discriminating against minorities and eliminate free speech. The FCC was created to guarantee that no entity or small group of entities has control and to preserve freedom of speech via electronic means. Recent FCC changes have both promoted the growth of a few specific businesses to see that they become a monopoly and reduced the rights of the individual contrary to our Constitution. Why? It's beyond time to change that. Our republican and business controlled monopoly in Washington is now gone and buried. It's time to reverse the anti-people choices that were made and to avoid any further empowerment of the rich at the expense of the average person. Stop being a puppet of the Bush administration!
