Internet must retain equal access

I have learned that the FCC has called for public comment on the issue of "net neutrality". For me, net neutrality is identical to the concepts of free speech and equal opportunity as we know them here in the USA.

I know that top executives of phone and cable companies have ignored the massive public investment in creating the Internet and instead have claimed that no one should think that they can "use our pipes for free. I am opposed to the idea of an Internet gatekeeper. I am opposed discrimination against people who refuse to pay cable, phone company and other ISP protection.

The fundamental change creating a tiered Internet would limit my ability to connect with others, share information and participate in our 21st century democracy and economy. The FCC must ensure that broadband providers do not block, interfere with or discriminate against any lawful Internet traffic based on its ownership, source or destination.
