Equal access for all
The internet is the only open source of information where all sides of the issues have equal access and these days one of the only places truly important stories get any attention at all. Net neutrality isn't just about everyone having a voice, its also about small business knowing that the deck isn't stacked against them when it comes to online services.
The move to create toll booths and fast lanes to open up bandwidth for the high rollers is about turning this source of information, true dialog, and free commerce over to a one-way flow of highest bidder corporate crap.
