Please Protect Internet Freedom
Net Neutrality is essential to free speech, equal opportunity and economic innovation in America. Since the FCC removed this basic protection in 2005, the top executives of phone and cable companies have stated their intention to become the Internet's gatekeepers and to discriminate against Web sites that don't pay their added tolls.
This change would end unfettered access to the vast forum of ideas and information (both mainstream and fringe)the internet contains. Furthermore, the ability of US citizens to learn about and influence their government would be severely hindered. This is a true affront to this country's founding principles. I urge you to protect Net Neutrality.
