NO GATE KEEPERS!!

I use the internet to research all kinds of things. From diaper rash to what kind of caterpillar we have in the back yard. I would be outraged if I had to go through a "gatekeeper" having them decide what is appropriate for me to read and what isn't. I am an adult, I am an American, and I deserve to decide what I read, look at, and do with my time and computer. There is no doubt in my mind that this action would limit my ability to seek out new information.
I am responsible and in charge of what my children view, and it isn't the governments job to monitor what I do, or how I do things with myself or my children. Your job is to keep things available us, Americans.
I must reiterate how enraged I would feel if Comcast, Cox, AT&T or whom ever were to take control of the lines that I use to access information.

Very Sincerely,
Rachel Pettit
ps...
Net Neutrality is essential to free speech, equal opportunity and economic innovation in America. Since the FCC removed this basic protection in 2005, the top executives of phone and cable companies have stated their intention to become the Internet's gatekeepers and to discriminate against Web sites that don't pay their added tolls.

This fundamental change would end the open Internet as we know it. It would damage my ability to connect with others, share information and participate in our 21st century democracy and economy. The FCC must ensure that broadband providers do not block, interfere with or discriminate against any lawful Internet traffic based on its ownership, source or destination.
