Helen Pike
We, the people, whom you represent
Born after World War II, I was raised, and educated, with the understanding that my government ~ at every level ~ represented me, my family, my neighbors, and my community; that decisions made were for America's citizens.
Allowing a handful of corporations to determine, or even to bully, the course of action taken by any government agency, is completely contrary to the democratic ideals used to establish a free flow of information in our Republic.
Forcing the citizen consumer to pay even more for net access will further limit the United States in the global marketplace of ideas and economy.
I am a writer, author, photographer, and a university lecturer.
