Internet as Educator

The internet is the only free medium left. As a student, I must use a lot of internet resources. I use the library when I need to, but my first instinct is to use the resource right here in my room.

Without net neutrality, these resources would be lost.

But more importantly, I use the internet to communicate and make music. I am what I'd like to think of as a budding musician, and without the internet, I would have never gotten the software, audio files, and knowledge necessary to make the music I've been making.

I have somewhere around 200 rough drafts of songs now complete, all because of the things I've found when surfing the internet. If it wasn't for all the independent information and software on the internet, I would have never gotten exposed like this.

You probably won't read this anyways, so I'm going to cut off here. The internet has impacted my life positively in many other ways, and continues to be one of the most valuable pieces of technology available. It is also the only remaining free media, and as soon as it's cut off, I don't know where the fuck we're going as a country.

Peace, love, and EQUALITY,
Mike tha Activata

P.S. If it wasn't for the internet, I'd have no idea what I'm doing with my life.
