Open access to congregate, communicate and debate
The United States of America is not, nor should not be, run by corporations. And the mentality and tactics used to run a corporation or industry like AT&T, Comcast and other phone and cable companies should NOT be used to run a representative democracy like ours. Their bottom line is profit; ours is freedom, representation and truth.
With Net Neutrality I am able to reach many people all over the world with my personal message. The Internet should allow everyone equal access and the ability to congregate, communicate and debate on the same level.
If media conglomerates are allowed to control the Internet and the Web, they will force out all but the biggest voices, the voices backed by enough money to buy in. Industry lobbyists should be told NO. The media Corpocracy is not my gatekeeper.
The power of a good democracy IS in the individual citizen as a free agent; they come together not as part of a money-making organization but as partners in a constitutional republic who desire and deserve freedom and unity of spirit.
n. cor·poc·ra·cy
1. A society dominated politically and economically by large corporations.
2. An inefficient corporation characterized by excessive layers of management.
Net Neutrality is necessary to the future of America.
Sincerely,
kshawn
