On Feb. 7, Free Press, the Media Access Project, Public Knowledge and the Greenlining Institute filed a letter with the Federal Communications Commission requesting that Verizon and SpectrumCo. make unredacted versions of its joint operating and marketing agreements in its spectrum deal available to parties in the proceeding. These agreements would still be subject to the strict confidentiality provisions of the protective orders, but would ensure commenters have an opportunity to present an informed analysis of the deals' impact.
