Stevie develops and implements strategies that connect the Free Press staff with the public. She manages speaking opportunities and participation in local, regional, national and international events. Previously she wrote, produced and co-hosted the weekly Media Minutes radio show, managed Free Press multimedia productions and edited the Media Reform Daily, now known as the Media Fix. Stevie earned her B.A. in critical social thought, with a concentration in political ideas and communication technology, from Mount Holyoke College.

    The San Francisco Public Press, a nonprofit online news organization, is about to launch a pilot print edition. In an era where other newspapers are shrinking in size, the SF Public Press is going big – with 28 full-size broadsheet pages full of news and features – with no paid advertising.
