Internet Campaign Director

Candace directs Free Press’ campaigns to restore Net Neutrality and stop government and corporate surveillance. She also directs our in-district organizing and online engagement and runs our internship program. Before joining Free Press, Candace worked with community radio station Valley Free Radio. Candace serves on the board of Girls Rock Campaign Boston and holds a B.A. in American studies from Smith College, with a concentration in media and culture. Candace loves all things pop culture.   • Open Internet Groups Launch the ‘Internet Health Test’

    WASHINGTON — On Tuesday, BattlefortheNet.com launched the "Internet Health Test" to collect data on Internet speeds across the Web. The test is an interactive tool that lets users run speed measurements across multiple interconnection points and collect data on whether and where Internet service providers are degrading online speeds and violating Net Neutrality.
