The power of the open Internet was on full display Monday as President Obama responded to questions from the public in a followup to last week's State of the Union address. And appropriately, one of the questions was about the president's support for the open Internet itself.

I use the internet to stay in contact with my family.
I use it for banking.
I use it for finding info when needed.
I use it for purchasing products. Which is definitely helping America's economy because it's products that I would have not bought due to my confinement to my home. The internet allows me to shop at home!
Why does the government want to (govern) the internet anyway?
