The power of the open Internet was on full display Monday as President Obama responded to questions from the public in a followup to last week's State of the Union address. And appropriately, one of the questions was about the president's support for the open Internet itself.

My business needs the internet to be fair

It is absolutely essential that large corporations not act as a gatekeeper to the internet. My business could not thrive without the Internet operating in the fair and open manner it is now. Controlling access to Web sites would also undermine the fundamental principals of America and equality for all.
