If we allow monetary concerns to absorb the majority of our airwaves--as has clearly happened with the now useless medium of television--our basic freedom of speech as guaranteed by The Constitution erodes further and further. We become beholden to the political imperatives of giant conglomerates who see human beings as fodder for their money making operations.
